What is Zerch
Zerch is a mobile application that helps you find the best offers and deals around you, in restaurants and on different brands.
What was the brief
The client wanted a video explaining the key features of their app. They wanted to showcase its benefits to the customer as well as retail merchants. Their main aim was to create awareness, promote the app and engage viewers into either downloading and using the app or merchants into associating with the Zerch brand.
Brainstorming a concept
we decided to separate the three broad features of the app into three individual videos. The purpose of this was to create a layered marketing strategy, where one video could be released every week, keeping the interest in the app constant, as well as keeping the focus specific. Overloading information in one video tends to saturate and lose the viewer, negating the purpose of creating the video in the first place.

Once the storyboards were approved, we began illustrating the scenes.
step 3 - style of animation
The style of the animation chosen was cute, funny and appropriate for the young audience the client wanted to target. Everything they wanted to say was shown in a descriptive, visual medium.
